Theresa Merrick is Director of Communications and Marketing at The University of Edinburgh, a post she has held since 2018.
Theresa has worked as a senior leader in higher education communications, marketing, and stakeholder relations for around twenty years.
Following four years at Glasgow Caledonian University as Director of Marketing and Public Relations, she spent almost seven years at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and then moved to the University of Aberdeen taking as Director of External Relations before taking up her current post in Edinburgh.
Theresa holds an MA in Hispanic Studies and Psychology and an MBA from the University of Glasgow. Theresa is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
