In the context of EUPRIO’s 40th birthday, we would like to take you to 2066. What will it look like to live, work and network in Europe 40 years from now? In this workshop, we will make full use the capability Futures Literacy to explore possible futures together. This UNESCO flagship approach provides us with a powerful tool to navigate the future together and embrace uncertainty and complexity we often experience when thinking about the future.
What is Futures Literacy? - We use the future every day: we predict, we plan, we dream. In doing so, we always make assumptions. Mostly we are not aware of this, while these unconscious assumptions about the future have great influence on our thinking and actions in the present. Futures Literacy is the UNESCO capability to be aware of- and experiment with our assumptions about the future and use them as a lens to think and act differently in the present.
The workshop lasts 2 hours and it is not repeated. If you select this one you cannot attend an other workshop in the second parallel session.
